Anne Arundel County Public Schools has chosen Oak Contracting to serve as construction manager for the $98-million Severna Park High School replacement project. The existing school will be completely demolished and a new 334,000 SF school will be built. The new school will increase student capacity from 1,923 to 2,099.
The project is being designed by GWWO Architects. Design will continue through spring of 2013 with construction beginning in June 2013. The entire project is anticipated to be completed by August 2017.
