Value: $78,190,363 | In August 2006, Prince George's County Public Schools opened the doors to the largest high school in its system. Also one of the largest schools in Maryland, the new Dr. Henry A. Wise, Jr. High School has a capacity of 2,600 students and looks more like a facility you would see on a college campus. The school is noted for its two-level, 5,000-seat main gymnasium that also serves as a graduation venue for the school system. This state-of-the-art facility also houses an auxiliary gym, 950-seat auditorium complete with box office and Black Box Theater, greenhouse, art and science labs, full service commercial kitchen and cafeteria, and comprehensive outdoor athletic amenities.
